NOLIPA sponsored “Lumiar Pela Lente”, a collective photography exhibition organised by the Lumiar Parish Council, celebrating the neighbourhood through the eyes of those who know it best.
The exhibition opened on 19 August 2026, World Photography Day, at Galeria Liminare, following an open call for both professional and amateur photographers living in Lumiar. Participants were invited to capture the character of the neighbourhood through its architecture and landscapes. The exhibition featured work by 17 local photographers and ran until 1 September.
By supporting this initiative, NOLIPA strengthens its connection with Lumiar and its commitment to the local community, culture and creative talent. Currently under construction in this part of Lisbon, the residential development aims to play an active role in the area by supporting initiatives that celebrate local identity and encourage community engagement.
“Lumiar Pela Lente” offered a fresh perspective on the neighbourhood, using photography to reveal the places, details and everyday settings that shape life in Lumiar.
