The 7th edition of ESCUTADORES has come to an end after two weekends dedicated to storytelling, creativity and nature in some of Lumiar’s gardens.
Created by Algures and supported by NoLiPa, Avenue’s residential project in Lumiar, the 2026 edition took place on 12, 13, 19 and 20 September across Jardim Professor António de Sousa Franco, Parque Botânico do Monteiro-Mor and Quinta das Conchas.
Over four days, children and families were invited to enjoy storytelling sessions, nature walks, plant discovery activities, puppet-making workshops and experiences centred around reading and bookmaking.
Through its partnership with Algures, NoLiPa supported an initiative that brings culture into public spaces and encourages the local community to rediscover the neighbourhood through stories, nature and shared experiences.
The partnership reflects NoLiPa’s ongoing connection with Lumiar and its commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to a more vibrant, engaged and connected local community.
ESCUTADORES was also supported by Lumiar Parish Council, the National Costume Museum and Lisbon City Council.
