Lumnia, part of the EXEO Office Campus, has received LEED GOLD (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the most prestigious international building certification program.
LEED certification evaluates the design and construction of buildings, with the aim of ensuring that performance throughout their life cycle is increasingly sustainable and their environmental footprint is as small as possible, thus contributing to the comfort and well-being of its users.
In this evaluation, Lumnia, located in Parque das Nações, in Lisbon, reached 71 LEED points, which corresponds to the highest score recorded in Portugal for a Core + Shell certification.
Aniceto Viegas, CEO of Avenue, states that "since the design phase of the EXEO Office Campus, in which LUMNIA is inserted, we have adopted sustainable practices that reflect our concern for the environment and the well-being of the users of this space. The energy and water efficiency, the thermal and acoustic comfort of the building, the maximization of green spaces and the mobility solutions implemented in and around the campus are some examples of the commitment we have made."
